What is NSA Secure Drive?
NSA Secure Drive is a premium executive transport service tailored to BMW’s operational and personal travel needs. It offers highly professional drivers and Close Protection Officers (CPOs), access to our high-end fleet, flexible service options, and the benefit of full oversight from our Global Security Operations Center (GSOC). The service is structured, reliable, and built around your comfort and most importantly your safety.

Booking Requirements
- Minimum 24-hour notice required (ideally 48–72 hours in advance)
- Full names of all travellers
- Contact number of the paying client
- Dates of support needed (arrival, departure, or both)
- Flight details (flight number, arrival and departure times)
- Drop-off locations (hotel, office, residence)
- Amount of luggage
- Any special arrangements required
- Payment preference

- Invoice on completion (for business use)
If using the services as outlined above for personal use, the cost will be billed to the individual directly.

1. What’s the difference between a Security Driver and a Close Protection Officer (CPO)?
• A Security Driver is a trained, professional driver with security awareness who is unarmed and ensures safe and discreet transport.
• A CPO is an armed executive protection specialist, trained to assess threats and provide active protection during transport.
2. How far in advance should I book?
• We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice.
• Ideally, please book 72 hours or more in advance to ensure all arrangements are confirmed smoothly.
3. What vehicle options do I have?
• You may choose between a BMW X3 (standard) or the BMW X5* or the Hyundai Staria.

4. How do I know which service to choose?
• Refer to the service table in this guide for examples.
• If you’re unsure, speak to Roy or GSOC for personalised assistance.
5. Do I need to tip the driver?
No tipping is expected or required. Our team is fully compensated for their professional service.
6. Can I arrange beverages in the vehicle?
• Yes! Please liaise with your coordinator in advance, especially for longer or full-day bookings.
7. Do I need to pay for parking?
• No. Your driver will take care of parking arrangements and this will be billed back to you.
8. Will I know who the driver is beforehand?
• Yes. You will receive the driver’s details in advance so you know who to expect.
9. Can you accommodate special needs or arrangements?
• Absolutely. That’s what makes our service different. Communicate any special requests to your coordinator.
10. Can I contact NSA after hours for emergencies or changes?
• Yes, you may contact our GSOC for support.
• However, last-minute bookings cannot be accommodated – all bookings require at least 24 hours’ notice
11. Can I use this for personal trips?
• Yes, Secure Drive is a service for both business and personal use. The invoice for personal use will be billed directly to the individual.
12. What if the booking exceeds the kilometres?
• When you book, we’ll advise based on your provided start and end locations. Additional kilometres may apply and will be quoted accordingly in advance
13. Can I use NSA Secure Drive outside of Gauteng?
• While our special point-to-point Secure Drive service is currently available only within Gauteng, we are able to assist with executive transport in other major cities across South Africa. If you require services outside of Gauteng, please contact the coordinator. A tailored quotation will be provided based on your specific location and needs.
